Safe Spring Event Held at High School
On May 14th the Burnt Hills Fire Department in conjunction with the Saratoga County Sheriffs Department, NYS Police, Ballston Lake EMS and Albany Med Flight participated in staging a mock, DWI motor-vehicle accident for the students at the Burnt Hills Ballston Lake High School. Students from the drama club were "victims" and were subjected to field sobriety tests, simulating a fatality and simulating injuries that required air transport. All in an effort to educate the students on the consequences of bad decisions.
It’s Fire Prevention Week—help us sound the alarm that working smoke alarms save lives.
Did you know that many people don’t test their smoke alarms as often as they should? When there is a fire, smoke spreads fast. You need working smoke alarms to give you time to get out. Test yours every month!
The Burnt Hills Fire Department is conducting its annual fund drive beginning Monday October 6th. Our members will be calling on district residents and asking for their support. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your past generous support and look forward for your continued support in the future. As a reminder the mail-in and door to door campaign is the only method we use to solicit funds. We have never used a phone campaign for our fund raising efforts.
As an added convenience we are now accepting donations via PayPal. Click the Donate button on the left side of the page and donate in a safe and secure manor. Thank you!
We are a 501c(3) organization. Click here for more information from the IRS website.
