Annual Election

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Annual Election of the Burnt Hills Fire District will be held on December 12, 2017 between the hours of 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM, at the Burnt Hills Fire House, located at the corner of Route 50 and Lake Hill Road, Burnt Hills, NY for the purpose of electing one Commissioner for a five-year term.  Term of office will commence on January 1, 2018 and end December 31, 2022. All duly registered residents of the Burnt Hills Fire District shall be eligible to vote.

 

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that in accordance with a resolution adopted by the Board of Fire Commissions, of said Burnt Hills Fire District, on October 1, 1963, pursuant to Section 176 of the Town Law, candidates for Fire District office, shall file their names with the Secretary, Candy L. Merchant, at her residence, 410 Charlton Road, Town of Ballston, Saratoga County, New York, at least ten (10) days prior to the date of said election.  Nominations for said office shall be submitted by petition for, subscribed by twenty-five (25) qualified voters of said district
